We are Ian and Michele, Sydney-siders who decided to pack up the car and drive around Australia. We had been thinking about it for a long time, but suddenly the time was right: the kids were all adults, Michele had retired and Ian was dropping many commitments at work, travel was opening up again post-covid, and the right vehicle seemed to present itself and was the final thing that tipped us into going.
The chance to take such a long time away from work had been impossible for most of our lives, so we are taking the opportunity for what should be an amazing experience, one way or the other.
