Nothing to see here. No sights, just a nice pub lunch in an outback roadhouse, but at least we made it to the Northern Territory.
Vehicle update: fuel consumption has been improving each day and is now down to 11.7L/100km, which is how I started, so I am much happier as this will give me 750km range without the jerry cans and well over 1,000km with them. Not sure what the problem was – maybe some bad fuel, or maybe the car computer is “learning”, or just playing up. I booked the car in for a service in Darwin anyway – figured they could check the computer and maybe check the filters and levels etc. while they are at it.
