Doesn't get much more remote than this. Not much to see, except the occasional big river. This area is mainly for serious fishing. We did do some fancy campfire cooking in our new camp oven - pics below.

We christened the camp oven (we bought in Darwin) by cooking apple crumble, like they did for us on the Larapinta Trail
First warm the oven and melt some butter (marg)
Mix oats with the butter
We cheated by using canned apples
Add some sultanas
and brown sugar
Put the oats on the fruit
replace the lid
cover the lid with embers from the fire
Cook your steaks while you are waiting
We keep adding luxuries - we now have a slice of lime in our Coronas
Presto - roasted to perfection
More luxury - add custard
